Here is a bumper for SuperStation Funtime - a kid's show on early cable outlet SuperStation WTBS, featuring a kid voice over. It wasn't exactly Super Cartoon Sunrise, but then those were big shoes to fill.

This aired on local Chicago TV (Cable) in 1983.

KOCO Channel 5 - Sundayscope (Excerpt, 1965)

At the end of the 2" Quad reel with the "Lunch with HoHo" promos, there was this interesting clip of the program "Sunday Scope" on KOCO-TV Channel 5 in Oklahoma City.

Featuring Ben West (Ben K. West - KOCO's Vice President and General Manager at the time) with "Bill" asking the questions in what appears to be a regular "Ask the Manager" segment.

This likely aired on local Oklahoma TV on Sunday, May 23rd 1965.

ABC Movie Special - "Star Tunnel" (Opening, 1982)

Here is the terrific "Star Tunnel" version of the ABC Movie opening, which began in Fall of 1981. This is the "ABC Movie Special" version, although the same theme and graphics were used for "The ABC Sunday Night Movie".

Really got you hyped up to see a good flick! :-)

Here's another something interesting - the music bed for a radio spot that apparently aired on WCFL for WFLD Channel 32 - "Catch 32!" was the slogan, promoting their movie airings.

The "Catch 32!" slogan was used on February 25, 1972 according to newspaper records.

Anchors depicted are (from the left): Chuck Henry, Jerry Dunphy, Christine Lund, and John Hambrick.

Voiceover (most likely) by Dean Webber.

Here is the older-style ABC Sunday Night Movie opening - the "Star Marquee". This was used for a good portion of the seventies up until the Fall of 1981. (at which point it was replaced with the "Star Tunnel" version, also found here) The movie being shown on this night was "Convoy".

PM Magazine - "Joan Esposito Audition" (1980)

Here's a brief audition that Chicago newscaster Joan Esposito did for the WFLD Channel 32 program PM Magazine. She didn't get the job, but she sure looks perty. Also auditioning with her is "Hilly Hicks"?

Joan Esposito would later go on to anchor at WLS Channel 7.

Tape was dated July 31st 1980.

KBHK Channel 44 - Son Of Svengoolie - "Son Of Frankenstein" (Bumper, 1983)

Here's a commercial bumper for the Son of Svengoolie presentation of "Son of Frankenstein" on one of the Field Communications affiliates - KBHK Channel 44 in San Francisco.

Obvious question: Why did they use "Rumble" if "Sven's Theme" had been in use for many years by this point?

Also interesting to note that they titled it, "Svengoolie Movie".
