Here's Part 7 of Pulse, the evening newscast of WTVT Channel 13 in Tampa / St. Petersburg, Florida, which featured Jim Ruddle as St. Petersburg anchor and Hugh Smith as Tampa anchor. This rare edition was transferred from the original 2" quad tape. This part features sports director "Salty" Sol Fleischman and national anchor / news director Ray Dantzler. Includes:

"Salty" Sol on the following items:

- More on the 10 millionth barrel of beer rolled out by Anheuser-Busch in 1964, with him holding one of the commemorative bottles from that barrel; he explains he had to speak at a Rotary Club convention in Sarasota and thus couldn't make the Busch Gardens event; he compliments Busch Gardens for all they've done to the state, as well as congratulating the St. Louis Cardinals (owned at the time by the Busch family) for their 1964 World Series championship; additional film showing the Tampa plant and the event are shown, with Salty Sol mentioning not only plant manager Paul von Gontard but also local distributor Louie Sweb(?)

- Upcoming wrestling match at the Armory between Tyler brothers (Tim and Rip), Bob Orton and Hiro Matsuda

- At Greyhound Race Track, Peroxide Pearl is scheduled to run

- A "Salty Sol's Best Bet," with report on fishing conditions including good chance for trout, with low tides in the morning but getting higher in the afternoon

With that, "Salty" Sol closes his segment, and promising Paul Reynolds on the 11pm edition
