Here's one of (if not the most) famous commercials ever - the Victory Auto Wreckers ad where the car door almost falls on the guy's foot. Contrary to popular belief, this ad originated in May of 1985 - despite the 70s-looking wristband/watch the guy is wearing.

Featuring Bob Zajdel as the hapless car owner and Luis ? as the tow-truck driver, who were both employees at the time.

WFLD Channel 32 - Keyfax Nite-Owl Service - "Fuzzy Program Lineup" (Brief Excerpt, 1982)

It must be static-y Nite-Owl excerpt week because I found another one - a really brief one where you can make out the Program Lineup they were showing for WFLD later that day (I didn't know they would show this!) before the channel switched to what looks like a scrambled movie.

Perkins' Fanta-Mals - Ralf - "Production Elements" (1974?)

Here's kind of a rare oddity - an animated production element for a "coloring book/cut-out paper dolls kit" type toy called Fanta-Mals (or Mini-Mals) by Perkins. This was found on an old 3/4" tape and dates to about 1974 or 1975.

Features the Fanta-Mals mascot - "Ralf", the green monster with the pink umbrella (or in this case, red umbrella)

Not sure how or if this was used in a commercial, since it doesn't show up in the other spots.
