Way to Go! Special (Part 4, 1980)

Here is Part 4 of the Field Communications produced Way to Go! Special - an hour long (compilation?) showcase of some special kids and what they do. Has a lot of nice little slices of late seventies life as a kid. :-) The tape was dated May of 1980. My contact says that only a few of these "Specials" were made. Like I said, I'm not sure if these were compilations of segments shown on the regular Way to Go program, or if they were specifically produced for these specials. I am pretty sure this was produced at the Field station KBHK-TV Channel 44 in San Francisco.

This part features: "Always Smile at a Crocodile" - Dana Schneider is an aspiring herpetologist and reptile and amphibian enthusiast who volunteers at the Aquarium and tide pool taking care of snakes, lizards, toads, alligators, crocodiles, and more.

Not sure if this particular version of the Way to Go program aired on WFLD Channel 32 in Chicago.

Also not sure if this aired on any of the other Field stations such as WKBD Channel 50 in Detroit, WLVI Channel 56 in Boston, or WKBS Channel 48 in Philadelphia. If anyone knows, please let me know. :-)
