Buick Regal - "The V-6 Buicks" (Commercial, 1980)

Here's a commercial for Buick Regal and their line of V6 engine equipped vehicles. I posted this because I think the blonde guy was also on The Great Space Coaster as "Danny" (actor Chris Gifford) Can anyone confirm? Here's a pic.
