Here's another Empire Carpets commercial, this one touting a free push-button phone (Ooooh!) for their 25th Aniversary. (So they started in 1959 - Holy Cow).

It sounds like they use a different version of the jingle at the end of this one. Could this be the "classic" version - brought out for the Anniversary? (Sounds very similar to the version that Rich Koz parodied in the Son of Svengoolie sketch, "Vampire Carpets".)

(They seemed to have a thing for disco-themed outfits, given that they'd do another such ad the next year.) With an offer for a store credit card which one could get in 90 seconds. Stores at 26 West Randolph, 3138 North Randolph and 6348 South Halsted.
