WREX Channel 13 - "The Circus" (Take 3, 1969)

Here's the third and final take of a (evidently lipsynced) performance from a band called "The Circus" - recorded at WREX Channel 13 in Rockford, IL. (Not sure if this ever ran on or was intended to run on WCIU Channel 26 or not.)
This came from the other Quad tape that I found in Jack Mulqueen's basement recently. (Recorded in low band, according to the slate at the opening of this clip - as accompanied by an 800 Hz tone).
I was hoping this tape might have c...
The Lost Snipets - "Meditation On A Bath" (A FuzzyMemories Re-Creation)
I had some additional Snipets segments but they were transferred from 16mm film and did not have the opening and closing on them. So, I did a little editing job and added them in. Not sure when this segment was created but I went with the 1977 classic "patchwork" Snipets logo. Enjoy.
This Snipet was produced by Roy Cox.

Here's Part 1 of a live, news discussion special called Sunday, Nuclear Sunday: Kansas City Reacts which aired on ABC affiliate KMBC Channel 9 in Kansas City, MO. (KMBC had been owned by Metromedia from 1961 to 1982 - the year before that company assumed control of WFLD Channel 32.)
This discussion program, aired right after the ABC telefilm The Day After, was hosted by Larry Moore (formerly of WLS Channel 7), incorporated a studio audience which had seen The D...

Here's an NBC News Digest anchored by Chuck Scarborough and sponsored by American Airlines.
Chuck reads the following items:

- Over 100 million Americans are estimated to have seen [ABC Telefilm depicting a nuclear war scenario] The Day After the ...
WFLD Channel 32 - Super Cartoon Sunday (Opening & Bumpers, 1977)
Here's a few neat treats: the original opening and bumpers for Super Cartoon Sunday on WFLD Channel 32, from the original 16mm film. (Previous to this we had only seen the 1984 version).
The cartoon characters spotlighted in the opening are Magilla Gorilla, Casper (The Friendly Ghost), Popeye, Valley of the Dinosaurs and The Jetsons. This is followed by two bumpers, one for
Log Cabin Syrup (Commercial, 1980)
Here's a commercial for Log Cabin syrup with one of those grizzled but benign old-timers straight from Central Casting.
This should be our channel's new slogan - "You can't bring the old days back, but you can still get a taste of what they were like - with FuzzyMemories!" ;-)
"One of the last great tastes of the old days."
This commercial aired on local Chicago TV on Monday, February 25th, 1980. (1979 Copyright)
