Here's the opening to the Eight O'Clock Movie presentation of "The Slender Thread" on WFLD Channel 32. I don't know if it was a mistake or not but the voiceover doesn't start until the music is over so we get to hear the whole theme.
Voiceover by Jim Barton.
This aired on local Chicago TV on Monday, March 1st 1982. (at 8pm!)

Here's Part 8, the last part, of a fairly early episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show - back when they were still producing it in the WLS-TV studios, and when they were still using the old AM Chicago music as the theme. On this day they had a Christmas Talent Show featuring staff members from WLS Channel 7. This part includes:
Oprah says goodbye and thanks.
This aired on local Chicago TV on Tuesday, December 24th 1985.

WFLD Channel 32 - All in the Family (Bumpers, 1981)
Here are two more examples of the old WFLD Field-style Zoomin' bumpers that I edited together - this time for All in the Family on WFLD Channel 32, both of which have a snippet of the closing theme "Remembering You" (written by series star Carroll O'Connor and Roger Kellaway). The first bumper has a still of Archie (O'Connor) and Edith (Jean Stapleton), and the second has a still of Archie and Edith with Mike (Rob Reiner) and Gloria (Sally Struthers); both stills date to the mid-1970'...
Way to Go! Special (Part 7, 1980)
Here is Part 7 of the Field Communications produced Way to Go! Special - an hour long (compilation?) showcase of some special kids and what they do. Has a lot of nice little slices of late seventies life as a kid. :-) The tape was dated May of 1980. My contact says that only a few of these "Specials" were made. Like I said, I'm not sure if these were compilations of segments shown on the regular Way to Go program, or if they were specifically produced for these specials. I am pretty sure this...
