Here is a bit from some Tarzan movie and the bumper for the 32 Saturday Morning Movie, on WFLD Channel 32. This dates to April of 1984.
Also includes a commercial for Dominick's, and a lot of static-ey dead air, the stuff that made us love Channel 32 back in the old days. ;-)
Here's a rare promo for Son of Svengoolie on one of the Field Communications affiliates - Philadelphia's WKBS Channel 48.
One interesting thing to note - Son of Sven never showed "The Crawling Hand" on the Chicago version, so this tells us that other movies were used at least once. I wonder if he did any movie related gags for this one or if it was just recycled bits from other shows?
Not sure when this aired but 1982 seems likely.
Here's the closing of the Sunday Morning Movie on WFLD Channel 32. Includes:
Sponsor notices from First Metropolitan Builders, Empire Carpets, and Howard Pontiac-Isuzu.
Closing of Sunday Morning Movie with preview of Family Movie and Premiere Movie.

Here's the opening moments for The 3:00 Movie presentation of the 1966 Elvis Presley film "Paradise, Hawaiian Style" on WLS Channel 7. Includes:
WLS' "Martin Luther King, Jr." station ID slide (voiceover by Al Parker)
The 3:00 Movie opening titles, derived from those of ABC's network movie shows as aired between 1975 and 1981, with an edited, sped-up version of the bridge from...
Here's the opening to the Sunday Night Movie presentation of "The Burglars" on WLS Channel 7. We can see it uses the same swirling-star motif as used on the 3:30 Movie and Late Night Movie shows of the period.
Previous to this we had only seen a small snip...
Here's a partial promo for an upcoming airing of the 1938 George Raft / Sylvia Sidney film "You and Me," to air on another obscure TV-44 movie show, this one called T.H.E. Movie (who knows what T.H.E. stood for, if anything?), airing at 8pm. The tape cuts out just before the promo ends. Features their usual multicolored layout for movie bumper slides as prevalent at the time, with a still of Raft and the movie title and stars' names set in Helvetica Medium.
Here is the opening (sadly, cut slightly in the middle) for the WFLD Channel 32 Monstrous Movie. The movie was "The House of Fear".
Music used in the opening is by Dick Jacobs - from the album "Themes From Horror Movies", and the track is "This Island Earth" (thanks to Dan Siciliano for the info)
The announcer is Jim Barton.
This aired on local Chicago TV on Saturday, June 5th 1982.
Here's the opening for The ABC Sunday Night Movie presentation of "21 Hours at Munich" including the promo for the movie. This was the premiere airing for this made-for-tv film.
This aired on local Los Angeles TV (and Chicago TV) on Sunday, November 7th 1976. (on Chicago TV at 8pm!)
Here's a cool promo for the WLS 3:30 Movie presentation of "The Vampires", which was shown on Tuesday, June 21st 1977.
What a freaky looking movie. This would have given me nightmares even if I watched it at 9am instead of 3:30pm.
Voiceover by Fred Kasper(?)
This promo aired on local Chicago TV Saturday, June 18th 1977 at a little before 10pm!
