Son of Svengoolie - "300th Show Retrospective" (1985)

    I'm pretty sure he started out on late nights, then moved to afternoons, then to mornings, then back to afternoons and then finally late-nights again before he got canned for good by those bozos at FOX. There might have been a few more changes somewhere in there, though.

    Weird seeing Rich as Jerry G's Sven. I wonder what the other choices for his costume were?

    King richard's fair became the renaissance fair I remember commercials for both and they were in the same place up near wis.

    I'm gonna go on a bit of a tangent here, so bear with me. On a couple of these clips, Sven complains about being on too early, but do you think that he might have benefited from it in the long run? After all, those of us who discovered him at a young age on those Saturday mornings are probably the same people who pushed for his return to the air, now that we are old enough to be attractive to advertisers.

    u have a good point but I think his ratings would have to be amazing for FOX to keep him around. FOX wanted nothing to do with sven but they gave us koz zone.

    "Baron Video"? "Count Yerchickens"?!? Yuck! It was probably for the best that the viewers didn't get the idea. Although "George Goolie" has a nice ring to it.
