Son of Svengoolie - "The 3-D Movie" (Open, Show #158, 1982)

Here's the open from Son of Svengoolie episode Number 158 - the famous 3-D Movie - Revenge of the Creature! A great (slightly disappointing) moment in Chicago Brodcasting History! ;-)

I included the first couple minutes of the movie so you could see a little bit of the 3-D effect - not so much during the titles, but as the movie starts you can see even without the glasses how the picture looks a little different. Not really sure how this was supposed to work with a black and white movie though. Anyone understand the mechanics behind it?

(Commercial break was edited out by the person that recorded this. Anyone have a better, more complete copy with commercials?)

This aired at 8pm on Thursday, July 29th 1982.
