The Keane Brothers (Commercial #2, 1977)

Here's another commercial for the eponymous debut album by the "Hanson" of their day - The Keane Brothers. (Tom and John) This one is shorter but has some different footage. (The longer version is here)

On 20th Century Records and Tapes. Produced by the legendary David Foster.

Nowadays they probably would have had to look like Justin Bieber in order to get a record deal.

Available at Korvettes. (ending voiceover by ??)

"They'll put a smile on your face..."

This aired on local Detroit TV on Sunday, April 3rd 1977 during the 6pm to 7pm hour.

The Keanes were the sons of legendary record producer Bob Keane who worked with the likes of Sam Cooke, Ritchie Valens, Ron Holden (of "Love You So" fame), The Bobby Fuller Four ("I Fought the Law"), and Barry White (the latter as an A&R producer for Keane's Mustang and Bronco labels, before he gained fame in the 1970's as the "King of Disco" - and on 20th Century Records to which the Keane Brothers were signed).

OMG...I don't remember these guys at all. Guess my older sister wasn't a fan. Love the Big Wheels though...definitely children of the 70s.
