    Based on the spiel, it looks as though this coverage of the Rose Parade was relayed from KTTV (future sibling station to WFLD) as Bill Welsh was the prominent commentator for that station during this time frame. I'm pretty sure by next decade's end, WGN would've switched gears and carry parade coverage from their new sib station KTLA.
