Description: Here's a (mostly complete) opening for the Sunday Matinee presentation of the Charlie Chan film "The Shanghai Chest"on WGN Channel 9. Also includes a partial WGN "Superman" Station ID at the beginning.

The Sunday Matinee opening with filmstrip and movie camera graphics, features an instrumental version of The Young Rascals' "Groovin' " by Raymond Lefevre and His Orchestra (released in the U.S. in 1967 on Four Corners of the World single #FC 4-145, and on the 1968 album Soul Coaxing (Ame Caline), FCS-4244 - the full recording can be heard here), with voiceover announcement of film (by Floyd Brown).
