I used to have a Cheker near where I grew up and I remember my dad going in there.

"When I drive into Cheker, I say Sayers, you're right at home." I say either the gas fumes or the concussions have gotten to him.

Wayne Rogers played Trapper John in "M*A*S*H," didn't he? So the guy who replaced him on the show is endorsing it... maybe it should have been "BJ Hunnicut, MD."

It's been 35 years since she became the 1st female mayor of Chicago and when Washington sworn-in as the next mayor of Chicago in '83, Byrne looked on. They had an photo published in the Sun-Times when Washington passed away on November 25, 1987 during Thanksgiving week.

On today's Weekend Edition Saturday on NPR, they did a story on former Mayor Jane Byrne which touched on her controversial decision to move into Cabrini Green during the Spring of 1981. They used a snippet from one of our videos - a WBBM-TV Channel 2 Newsbreak with Harry Porterfield.

Dick Orkin was Chickenman back in the 1960's! He was the greatest! And looking at his page on Wikipedia, this site has one of his Henry's commercials.... http://fuzzymemories.tv/#videoclip-3193 . I'm surprised I didn't catch it last year...

Just got one Sarah Miles film in the books. It isn't Blow-Up yet, but I still have the DVD. (The film I did complete tonight features brief appearances by James Stewart.)

I did a tribute to Don this morning on my blog.

He was a dedicated professional and he will be missed.
