Here's a commercial for Wickes Furniture promoting their January bonus sale on one-of-a-kind items in such styles as Mediterranean, contemporary, and Early American.

In Willowbrook, Harvey, Itasca and Wheeling.

Voiceover (possibly) by Lynn Hauldren (years before he became the Empire Carpet spokesperson).

I've been to the one in Harvey because I lived in Hazel Crest. There was also a Wickes in Merrillville.

I bought my first Zenith about that time - but I went for the 25" model (just over $600.00, or about $100.00 less than what my first VCR cost a year before).
