I hate when I see breeders in the classified though. To me that's like saying puppy mills are fine. I know this is only a commercial but still.

The McDade's in Palatine was at 1300 E. Northwest Highway. The Post Office is in that location now.

I know I went to the McDade's in Palatine but can anyone remember where it actually was located?

ID'ed the woman in the bumper promo at the beginning - Karen Kalish.

The guy at 1:27 looks as if he is trying to give The Most Interesting Man in the World a run for his money.

I remember hearing somewhere that, after years of doing these commercials, DiMaggio was disenchanted by young people who wanted his autograph because he was "Mr. Coffee" and had no idea about his baseball career.

Something seems misleading here... is it 37 cents for one 5x7 print, with a much greater sitting fee that we're not told about?

Or is this all to get Cheapskate Mom to come in for a big sales pitch in hopes that she'll put away her change purse and actually buy the deluxe package of 75 prints, with a pose in front of each background. With 5x7, 8x10, 3x5, 36x24x36... wait, maybe not that last one!

And if these are "portraits for Christmas," why are none of the backdrops holiday-themed?! I guess they bring those out for Easter...

That Colorburst 250 Instant Camera is as big as the kid's head using it.

Typo alert: It says "Roger Cole - Capitol Records" in the description but it's actually "David Cole".
