WGN Channel 9 - Family Classics With Frazier Thomas - "The Last Of The Mohicans" (Opening, 1983)

Here's the opening of the Family Classics presentation of The Last of the Mohicans on WGN Channel 9. Featuring Frazier Thomas as host.

The Family Classics theme song was called "Moviescope" and was a piece of library music composed by Dennis Berry. It was originally released on the Berry/Conroy label.

This aired on local Chicago TV on Sunday, October 23rd 1983 at 3:30pm.

In the opening of the commercial is the store front of a Woolworth store in some shopping mall with 1970's-1983 Woolworth logo signage.

I can tell you that my father, my first stepfather, & my last stepfather all had something in common(other than my mom): They all would have preferred the Bob Seger "Night Moves" LP. LOL.
