I remember seeing the host of "Chicago Week in Review" (can't remember his name--Joel something) walking into town from Union Station. I'd've struck up a conversation, but it was a typical Chicago winter day (i.e. colder than Kelsey's you-know-what) and all I could think of was getting inside. That was a really good show. Is it still on the air?

Any "Image Union" clips out there?

Ro - Joel Weisman is his name. :-)

I have some Image Union clips here - do a search for it. I should post more though.

Thanks, Fuzzy! It actually came to me later. I'll check for "Image Union" clips; that show was classic.

Anyone know when they began using that particular logo?

Meaning the 11.

I.I.N.M., something similar was used between filmed stories on the 1962 Len Johnson newscast from then-WIIC Channel 11 in Pittsburgh. That type of transitioning was usually used in Britain in the 1960's in-between individual commercials during such breaks on ITV (Independent Television).

I love the commercial, but who hangs a Christmas wreath on the inside part of the door?

I've never seen a swirling circle transition in a newscast like the one at 3:01 before.

Weren't most of these filmed in San Francisco? The firefighter one was for sure.

For some reason, this patrolman's voice reminds me of that of a mail person who once delivered mail to my house for many years, before being assigned to another route elsewhere in Manhattan. Can anyone say for sure, based on some of the buildings, where this cop was based?

Did anyone ever try to make a "Come Back Here" can?

Oh, right - Berwyn. Can't find anything good in Berwyn any more. :-)

"Come back here" will turn up sooner or later, probably unexpectedly. I'll bet it's sitting on a long forgotten tape, in a dark basement corner in Berwyn. ;)

We have 6 days to use the Colonel's 9 Piece deal...just says offer good through Feb. 20th.

9 pieces of chicken for $3.50...How much are 9 pieces today? And is it even real chicken?

This is the equivalent of patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time.
